Mozilla Thunderbird

Mozilla Thunderbird is an excellent Open Source e-mail client. It includes Junk Mail blocking, very customizable mail rules, and supports multiple e-mail accounts. It also has the ability to use themes and extensions, and has built-in RSS support.

Eudora

Eudora is a very powerful e-mail client. It has some innovative features including "Mood Watch," a system that will tell you if your e-mail may be offensive before you send it. It is available for purchase for $39.95, $49.95, or you can download a free ad-supported version with limited features.

Outlook Express

Quite powerful and very easy to use, Outlook Express is available to download for Mac OS 9 only. It is included with Internet Explorer on Windows and is not available for Mac OS X (as Mac OS X comes with Apple's Mail program).
