What is "Offsite Backup"?
Backing up offsite is the safest way to store important data, because it's protected from burglary, hard drive failure and natural disasters like floods and fires.
Transfer your data offsite securely by using InfoWest Backup's SFTP. SFTP is an interactive file transfer standard, similar to FTP, which performs all operations over an encrypted SSH transport.
Worried about your backups being too big? Not a problem, InfoWest Backup supports FTP resume, which will allow your offsite backups to reconnect automatically in case of an Internet disconnection. No extra setup required.
Can I use InfoWest Backup on my Computer?
InfoWest Backup is designed to work best with MS Windows NT/2000/XP/Server 2000/2003.
What about my data? Is it secure?
Get extra data protection by using InfoWest Backup’s strong 448 bit blowfish encryption feature, while saving space by using an adjustable compression rate. Also included are easy to use reports/log files, inline help documents and InfoWest's legendary technical support.
