Halloween Traditions at InfoWest

October 31, 2025

Halloween brings out the spooky, the silly, and the downright creative in all of us. From trick-or-treating to scary movie marathons, there’s no shortage of traditions that help us get into the Halloween spirit. Whether you’re looking for something nostalgic, artistic, or downright spooky, here’s how some of our team members celebrate the season.

Spooky Traditions from the Team

Logan F. – Tech Support
“I like to play scary video games or organize a watch party for my favorite Halloween movies. It’s a great way to feel the spooky vibes with friends.”
Nate H. – Tech Support
“I go to a pottery painting studio and create spooky mugs and plates. No word yet on whether they’ll let us start a pumpkin-smashing competition!”
Joshua E. – Tech Support
“My wife and I love to carve pumpkins and then wind down with a scary movie. Classic and cozy!”
Sara Schmitz – CSR/Billing
“For a few years, my parents and I would go all-out decorating their house. We’ve done themes like aliens, a pirate ship with a kraken, a spooky graveyard, and even a giant dinosaur. The neighbors always loved it!”
Laiza Moreno – Marketing Specialist
“Every year, I dress up and coordinate costumes with someone in my family, whether it’s my sisters, brother, partner, or parents. Then we sit outside together at night and hand out candy. It’s one of my favorite traditions.”
Geoff Lindsay – Support Ops Supervisor
“When I was younger (and arguably more macabre), I’d go to the oldest cemetery I could find, preferably a pioneer one and look for the oldest headstone. It made me reflect on history and appreciate life today.”
Adam Leonard – Supply Coordinator, Accounting
“I used to host an Evil Dead party every Halloween weekend. We’d binge all three movies. It was always a scream.”
Zack Friedman – Support Ops Supervisor
“I’m starting a new tradition this year with a Conjuring marathon while handing out candy on the front porch. Wish me luck!
Whatever your Halloween tradition looks like, whether it’s dressing up with family, visiting cemeteries, or watching horror films you’re helping keep the spirit of the season alive. Happy Halloween from all of us at InfoWest!
