Southern Utah’s first Internet service provider announces launch of new division – FamilyFilter, an affordable Parent Controls and Internet Filtering Service.

ST. GEORGE, UTAH – April 23, 2018 – InfoWest, Inc., a leading local Internet Service Provider for Southern Utah, has announced the launch of a new division called, FamilyFilter. The new FamilyFilter offered by InfoWest will allow parents to set screen time limits, track Internet browsing history, set custom parental controls and monitor Internet usage and activity from their mobile device.

The Internet has become increasingly accessible to people of all ages. However, the easy accessibility has led to an increase in children viewing inappropriate content online. “FamilyFilter is a powerful tool that will help parents to take control of the internet in their home,” said InfoWest Vice President Randy Cosby. “It is designed to both complement and enhance parental supervision and family rules to make home Internet safer.”

FamilyFilter is a small secure cloud-connected device that plugs directly into a home wireless router. Unlike some parental control services, FamilyFilter will allow parents to utilize safe search options on Google, Bing and YouTube, as well as, enforce advanced Internet filtering and pornography blocking rules.
