10 things to do in our Southern Utah communities
From Zion's cliffs to Fishlake's alpine lakes, ten places worth a stop across InfoWest country.

InfoWest’s offices sit in the middle of the country we serve: St. George, Cedar City, Richfield, and Overton, Nevada. The same red rock and high forest that draw visitors surround the towns where we work.
We’re also extending fiber into rural Sevier County, including Monroe and Annabella.
Planning a visit? Here are ten places worth your time across the region.
1. Zion National Park
Zion National Park rises straight from the canyon floor in walls of sandstone. Hike Angel’s Landing, wade The Narrows, and ride the free shuttle deeper into the canyon. Plan for an entrance fee.
2. Bryce Canyon National Park
Bryce Canyon is famous for its hoodoos, thin rock spires packed into natural amphitheaters. The Queen’s Garden and Navajo Loop trails drop right among them. The rim sits high, so pack water and dress in layers.
3. Capitol Reef National Park
Colorful cliffs, historic pioneer orchards, and the long wrinkle of the Waterpocket Fold define Capitol Reef. Trails run from short walks to backcountry routes. Carry water and sun protection, especially in summer.
4. Off-roading in Moab
Moab’s slickrock draws off-roaders from around the world to trails like Hell’s Revenge and Fins and Things. Check local regulations, carry the right gear, and stay on marked routes to protect the desert.
5. Natural Bridges National Monument
Three massive stone bridges span the canyons at Natural Bridges National Monument. Short trails lead to overlooks above each one. Wear good shoes and bring a camera.
6. Cedar Breaks National Monument
Cedar Breaks opens into a deep amphitheater of red and orange rock ringed by wildflower meadows. It sits above 10,000 feet, so expect cool air and thinner oxygen. Short paths from the parking areas reach the best views.
7. Snow Canyon State Park
Just outside St. George, Snow Canyon State Park mixes red sandstone, black lava flows, and pale sand dunes. Come to hike, climb, picnic, or watch for desert wildlife.
8. A drive along Scenic Byway 12
Scenic Byway 12 ranks among the most beautiful drives in the country. It winds past canyons, forests, and small towns between Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef.
9. Pioneer history at Cove Fort
Step into the 19th century at Cove Fort near Beaver, a restored way station with guided tours and pioneer exhibits. Monroe’s pioneer heritage park fills in more of the region’s settlement story.
10. Fishlake National Forest
Fishlake National Forest covers wide stretches of mountain and lake country. Hike, camp, or cast a line at Fish Lake, known for its fishing and its mountain views.
