Home Phone

Home phone service that keeps your number.

It runs over your Internet service from InfoWest or any broadband connection you already have, so you keep your number and your handsets. A person answers when you call, day or night.

  • Keep the number you already have
  • Unlimited calling across the US, Canada, and Mexico
  • Month to month, on one local bill

Home Phone

What your home phone line includes.

Digital voice runs through your router, so there are no phone jacks to wire and no per-minute surprises. Every line comes with the calling features a landline should have had all along.

  • Voicemail: greet callers and pick up messages from any phone
  • Voicemail to email: new messages land in your inbox
  • Caller ID: see who's calling before you pick up
  • Call forwarding: send calls to another number when you're out
  • Call waiting: take a second call without hanging up
  • Call logs: review your incoming, outgoing, and missed calls
  • Do not disturb: silence the ringer when you need quiet

Keep your number

We move it from your old phone company, and your current line stays on until the switch is done.

Unlimited US, Canada, and Mexico calling

No per-minute charges. Calls to other countries are billed by country.

Covers normal home use under our Fair and Reasonable Use Policy.

Cordless home phone handset resting on its base station

Plug it in, and the whole house has a phone.

  • One base, many handsets. Add a cordless handset anywhere there's an outlet.
  • Bring your own phone. Plug the cordless phone you already own into the base and it works as it always has.
  • Set up in minutes. Most people plug it in themselves; on-site setup is available if you'd rather we do it.

Home phone questions

The ones we hear most on the phone.

Can I keep my number?
Yes. Bring the number you have now and keep it. We handle the transfer from your old phone company, and your line stays active until the switch is done, so you never lose service.
Do I need Internet from InfoWest?
No. Home phone works over your InfoWest connection or any broadband line you already have, whether that is cable, fiber, or fixed wireless. When you also get Internet from us, both land on one bill.
Does 911 work?
Yes. 911 calls reach local dispatch with the address we have on file. Like any Internet phone, the line needs power and Internet, so a battery backup or a charged cell phone covers you in an outage. 911 details.
Can I use my existing phones?
Yes. Plug your own cordless phone or handset into the base unit and it works as it always has. We can also supply a cordless phone and handsets if you would rather start fresh.
Which star codes work on my line?
The same codes you know from an office phone: *98 reaches your voicemail, *67 hides your caller ID on the next call, *69 calls back the last number that called you, *72 and *73 turn call forwarding on and off, and *78 and *79 turn do not disturb on and off.
Is there a contract?
No. Home phone is month to month. Add a line, keep it as long as it is useful, and change your plan whenever your household does.
What does long distance cost?
Nothing extra across the United States, Canada, and Mexico; those calls are included. Calls to other countries are billed by country at our published rates.
